Eve, the fabric was a Hoffman line but as far as I know no longer available in stores. Things published in magazines are submitted a year in advance so often the fabric is gone by the time published unless done specifically for a company promotion. You might be able to search on line sources. Sorry. I made a store sample when the magazine came out using the “ombre metallic” line currently available from Moda.
Hi Sharon,
I bought the August?September 2021 edition of Quick + Easy Quilts.
I am loving your “JACKS CRISSCROSS” Quilt.
now I’m searching for a Toutorial.
The instructional illustrations that are included in the magazine are all that is available for assistance. As you review those it is a process of cutting in half and inserting a strip of the indicated width and length, pressing and then cutting half the opposite direction and inserting a strip of indicated width and length. Continue to cut in half diagonally as shown, insert strip and then cut in half diagonally the opposite direction and insert strip. Then trim to the indicated size.
Try a sample block to boost your confidence and I think you’ll find it is fast and easy.
If you have further questions please let me know.
Sharon, I’m interested in the Shiny Baubles quilt you made. Could you please tell me where you purchased the fabric. Thank you.
