Hand Me Down Quilts
I am so pleased to share that with my daughter’s expertise I have the final proof done for my quilt book titled “Hand Me Down Quilts”. I hope it will be available by mid-October. It is not a how-to quilt book but has 14 patterns using classic blocks in contemporary settings. The quilt projects range from table runners to baby quilts to throw in size and are meant to be sewn in a long weekend or less. Caveat: a couple may take a little longer!! The main objective of the quilt book is to foster family conversations about the life styles and memories we wish to pass on to future generations through quilts made together. Hand Me Down Quilts gives you the patterns and the conversation starters to begin sharing both the making of family heirlooms and the stories that make us family.
Drop me a note if you want to make sure your copy is available as soon as they arrive from the printers!
Mrs. Wasteney I would like to purchase one of your books when it becomes available.

Jeanette, my book is here. I would love to send you one. It is $25. I’m in Des Moines this weekend for a quilt show in Ames, with my books. If you can email me your address I will get one in the mail. Email: sharonwasteney@gmail.com
Sharon, I saw the photos from your talk at the Boonslick Trail quilters and would love to have a couple copies of your book (1 for me & 1 for my new quilt quild). Please let me know how I can get them. Thanks, Kim
