Leftovers

Sunday I made this little quilt-to-be from leftovers after having made a cutting mistake. I had ten 10 inch blocks from a fall leaf throw that is in the ” sew when in the mood” pile. Plan was to cut the squares into equal fourths but when the first cut was clearly not equal it was time for some creative thinking. Simple solution, cut the remaining blocks in the same manner. I printed one of my favorite quotes, will add my favorite Tyvek leaves, a few beads and maybe some other embellishment before finishing.
